Project services: structured coordination of complex trades
The modernization required seamless control of all interfaces. Daterra took on the role of general contractor and was responsible for the complete organization. The team ensured the coordination of all implementation phases through specialized project management to update the technical infrastructure without interrupting processes.
The following core services formed the foundation for successful implementation:
- Central control all involved trades at the site.
- Continuous Project Management for precise adherence to temporal and technical processes.
- Close monitoring of schedule and budget throughout the entire execution.
- Specialized construction supervision to ensure execution quality and technical standards.
Project Highlights: Technical Upgrade with 500-ton Crane
A key element was the use of heavy lifting equipment to safely hoist the components onto the roof areas amidst the dense inner-city development. This involved the installation of several Güntner V-condenser, with a single performance of each 200 kW ensure the cold supply. In parallel with the mechanical engineering installation, a specific Protective and visibility structure built it. This integrates the plant with a total cooling capacity of 250 kW both acoustically and visually into the existing building ensemble.
Project Management: High-Performance Cooling in Urban Centers
As the building was fully occupied by tenants throughout the entire execution phase, the focus of the planning was on maintaining all operational processes. To achieve the project goals without interrupting technical services, the management team, consisting of project and construction management, coordinated a total of ten technicians and three specialized trades. This staffing setup enabled a swift completion as a general contractor project in the existing building.
Special challenges: refrigeration precision at a height of 25 meters
The realization was through assembly in an exposed location as well as strict Location-based restrictions stamped. As the work took place in the busy city center of Frankfurt, the crane operation had to be precisely timed with the municipal regulations for the use of public space. A key requirement was the Soundproofing since the aftercoolers were positioned in close proximity to occupied office spaces.
Furthermore, the installation in 25 meters high a detailed examination of the static loads on the roof. The action of the Wind forces The large-scale protective structure was a significant factor in the planning to ensure long-term structural stability. Through experience with complex existing building projects, these legal and structural hurdles were overcome without impacting tenant processes.
